Jody Maffett is the creator of It’s Been Nice But Now I’m Dead and Things My Loved Ones Should Know. With a blend of humour, honesty and practical advice, Jody will talk about the challenges faced after her father’s traumatic brain injury, lessons learned in the years that followed and why she created her journals.

Jacob Harper, an estates and business lawyer with Nelligan Law, will provide clear and practical guidance on wills, powers of attorney, trusts, probate and so much more. He will share how thoughtful planning ahead can reduce stress for your loved ones, protect your legacy and help you prepare for whatever the future may bring.

Benoît Robert, funeral director and VP of the Heritage Funeral Complex, has extensive experience helping to navigate the difficult decisions that come with loss. Ben will speak about the importance of planning ahead and how making these decisions can help ease the burden on loved ones during an already difficult time.
